Hello, Goodbye Poem

Hello, Goodbye Poem

Goodbye to the freezing cold weather that makes the frosts early in the morning.
Hello to the warm bright sunshine every morning shining down on you making me happy.

Goodbye to the sad and gloomy children walking around in sad lonley air.
Hello to the bright and chipper children running around with joy and excitement.

Goodbye to the helpless crusty trees dying every moment we speak.
Hello the fresh blooming daffodils flowering everywhere.

Goodbye to the shivering naked sheep so cold they could freeze to death.
Hello to the cute and fluffy lambs running around and playing with their friends.

Goodbye to the crinkled and shriveled landscape that is concealed with frost.
Hello to the newest freshest landscape that is warm and cheerful.

Goodbye to the coldest saddest parties ever so boring and sad.
Hello to the sunny warmest parties ever known in the hole life.

Goodbye to the noisy birds roosting so loud you might get deaf,
Hello to the happy chirpy birds flying all around our houses.

refletion

This term I learnt that you can turn a improper fraction into a mixed fraction and a mixed fraction into a improper.

The thing I enjoyed the most this term was doing the art for the gallery.

I am most proud of my writing like rhyming pieces and personification writing.

Next term, my goal is to improve on my maths to get in the second highest group.

I hate tomatoes!

We  have been looking at the amazing Dr. Seuss in Team 3, and today had a go at writing our own silly, rhyming pieces. We based our pieces on ‘green eggs and ham’ and chose a food we absolutely despise. It was really fun but hard. Here is my attempt:

I hate tomatoes!

I hate tomatoes
not ever am I going to try
I will not eat them if you give me rewards
I will scream if I see them or maybe cry

I do not think they are delicious
but people say they taste like rice
I say tomatoes are disgusting
and they taste like old dead mice!

Look around I see red everywhere
I could make a tomato band
They are runny inside and out,
in my opinion they look like dirty sand.

when I see tomatoes
I run and scream like I am scared of hay!
I will never ever try them
I won’t even say g'day!

The crashing sea on the Island

The crashing sea on the Island

The angry waves crash on the island, trying to make it disappear.
The island sighs sadly and sobs, that makes more water in the sea.
The only tree on the island sways helplessly in the middle of a war.

The sea mumbles sadly because the island has won but the sea does not give up. The island slowly gets smaller and only a little space is left with the sad little tree.
